Cassandra Schaeg is an Emmy Award-winning television producer, host, and visionary entrepreneur committed to elevating diverse voices across industries. With a multifaceted career spanning the nonprofit and private sectors, Cassandra forged her path by founding SIP Wine & Beer and co-founding Fresh Glass Productions LLC, two ventures that reflect her belief in the power of community, culture, and storytelling.
Through her leadership as Co-Creator, Producer, and Host of Fresh Glass, Cassandra has become a transformative force in the movement to amplify the voices of women and underrepresented entrepreneurs. Launched in 2022 on KPBS and PBS, Fresh Glass broke new ground by bringing the bold, authentic stories of 18 BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ innovators to screen, stories that had long been missing from traditional media. By celebrating their journeys, challenges, and triumphs, Cassandra shines a spotlight on the innovators reshaping the U.S. economy and redefining belonging through entrepreneurship.
The show’s impact has been widely recognized, earning two Emmy® nominations and one win for Magazine Program from the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. As Fresh Glass enters national syndication in 2025 across KPBS, PBS, Create TV, and local PBS affiliates, Cassandra continues her mission of representation through storytelling, community engagement, and advocacy.
An unwavering advocate for women and diverse communities in the food and beverage industry, Cassandra also mentors emerging entrepreneurs, using her platform to foster inclusion and empower others to claim their space. With visionary dedication, she continues to ensure that America’s entrepreneurial tapestry is seen, celebrated, and heard one story, one glass at a time.
